Puppies are able to start puppy school 10 days after their first vaccination providing they are given the latest generation of vaccine was correctly administered.
We have a new puppy class beginning most weeks to ensure all puppies have an opportunity for socialisation with puppies and people. You will be surprised how quickly your puppy will learn.
Sensitive Development Period
All animals at the start of their lives experience what is known as the ‘sensitive development period’. During this time, they encounter the world for the first time – and learn to accept what they find.
In puppies, the sensitive period starts from birth and lasts until about 14 weeks of age. Anything a puppy experiences during that time will become part of its natural order of things.
After that age, unfamiliar objects and experiences can cause a fearful response (sometimes extremely fearful) and could ultimately lead to aggression.
Puppy Classes
Good socialisation is the best way to ensure a friendly, well-adjusted puppy.
Our puppy classes offer you a unique opportunity to introduce your puppy to many additional sights, sounds and experiences in a controlled and responsible way. They are a fun and informative way to help you begin the socialisation process in a safe environment and allow your puppy to meet others while it is still very young.

Our puppy school is designed for puppies between 8 and 16 weeks of age and are generally run over 5 weeks.
